ValleyCrest honored for business excellence

The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce presented two of its most prestigious awards last week, one of which, the 2010 Excellence in Business Award, went to ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance.

ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance has been a market leader in Florida since establishing its first Florida operation in the 1980s. The company has a large presence in Walton County and serves many customers in the area, including the communities of WaterColor, WaterSound, Grand Boulevard Town Center, Silver Sands Factory Stores and Seaside.

ValleyCrest was nominated and selected for this award based on their community involvement, customer service and dedication to enhancing the area’s aesthetic appeal, while utilizing the most environmentally friendly products available in the industry.

“ValleyCrest has offered services to us as a chamber,” said Kitty Whitney, president of the Walton Area Chamber. “In some of our events, they have provided decor, centerpieces and plants, utilizing the highest quality products. They have converted regular meeting space into a tropical delight, with superior customer service to boot”,

To be considered for the award, the nominees must demonstrate superior involvement, achievement and leadership accomplishments within the community, as well as have a proven track record in professional growth and sustainability.
