Landscaper Pro names national sales manager

 

Amato has more than thirty years experience in the landscaping, grounds and property management industries. His roles ranged from business owner to general manager of facility management. Anthony was the president of West-Rock Landscape Contractors and Amato Landscape & Grounds Management Company. Most recently he was the general manager of facilities management working with clients including the New York Yankees, Mount Sinai Medical Campus, New Jersey Transit Authority, Standard Parking Corporation and Central Parking Systems in New York City, New Jersey and Philadelphia.

 

“When Landscaper Pro contacted me I was excited to hear of the new business development plan and had no idea my future was about to take a dramatic turn,” Amato said. “When the offer came to head the sales department, I was thrilled by the opportunity. This will allow me to apply everything I’ve learned in the landscaping industry the past three decades to this innovative concept of cost effective buying power for all in the landscape and related industries.”

 

A New York native, Amato started West-Rock Landscape Contractors in 1981. He was a staple in grounds maintenance services in Rockland County and expanded into Orange County New York and New Jersey. His knowledge of the landscaper business operations, equipment,and repairs gives him an understanding of the wants and needs of the modern day landscaper. “I am eager to be heading back out in the field (without the suit and tie wardrobe) once again as I will certainly renew old friendships and I am looking forward to making new friends.” Amato said.
