The Western Regional Conference hosted by the New York State Turfgrass Association will be held Feb. 28 at Millennium Hotel Buffalo in Buffalo.
The one-day event will offer educational sessions and a trade show.
A general session will include a regulatory update from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and a legislative update. The session will take place from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Throughout the day, credits will be offered for classes geared toward golf turf, sports turf, lawn and landscape and cemetery maintenance.
Also on the agenda is a round table discussion from noon – 1:15 p.m. The topics coverd include: common inspection violations and regulatory issues, pest management, legislative issues, planting in harsh environments, invasive crane fly management, irrigation and insects and diseases.
