COATESVILLE, Ind. – Dixie Chopper honored over 400 veterans in its booth during the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky on Feb. 10-13. During the trade show, Dixie Chopper handed out over 300 custom veteran hats and held a special reception for those who proudly served in our military.
Dixie Chopper held an hour long Veteran Reception in its booth three days during the show. Over 100 veterans visited the Dixie Chopper booth to be honored at the reception and were served free coffee and cookies.
“It was our honor to serve so many veterans at the National Farm Machinery Show and we were overwhelmed with the attendance we received in our booth,” said Chris Vernon, vice president and general manager. “The response was so strong that we plan to make a new tradition at the National Farm Machinery Show.”
Since 2014, Dixie Chopper has been honoring veterans with their Hometown Heroes Rebate. All active and retired members of the U.S. Military, Police, Fire, EMT, and Paramedic services can receive a $250 rebate on any new Dixie Chopper they purchase.
For over 35 years Dixie Chopper has been handcrafting zero-turn lawn mowers in Coatesville, Indiana. All Dixie Choppers are proudly made in the USA and always will be.
