This SRT Climber Workshop will teach attendees about single rope work positioning and redirects on SRT climbing systems in the tree. The instructors are Eric Whipple (CTSP) and Michael Frankhauser (CTSP Candidate).
This event features two registration options:
Option 1: Participants will attend day one, which features tree-demo style education, gear selection, anchors, climbing systems, redirects and repositioning.
• No climbing experience required.
• This workshop is Friday, April 24 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
• 7 ISA and 7 CTSP CEUs will be awarded for day one.
Option 2: Participants will attend both day one and day two (hands-on climbing with tailored instruction).
• Participants must have one year of tree climbing experience in order to register for Option 2.
• This workshop is Friday, April 24 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Saturday, April 25 (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
• 7 ISA and 7 CTSP CEUs will be awarded for day one. 5.5 ISA CEUs and 5.5 CTSP CEUS will be awarded for day two.
