Husqvarna launches entry-level robotic mower

The Automower is available at Lowe's stores across the country.

CHARLOTTE  – Husqvarna announced it has expanded its market position and launched a new entry-level Automower robotic lawn mower that comes with installation included in the price.

Specifically designed to handle all grass types, the Automower 115H robotic lawn mower (MSRP: $1,599 for product and installation) caters specifically to the U.S. market and its large variety of grass types, some of which flourish with a higher cutting height. As part of an exclusive partnership with home improvement retailer Lowe’s, the new model is available at a wide range of Lowe’s locations across the country, and Husqvarna will promote the new model via indoor and outdoor display experiences at those locations.

“Our robotic mowers have been the solution to better lawns and more free time since 1995, but we recognized the need for an entry-level model for the U.S. market that can cut all grass types and offers a seamless one-stop solution for purchase, delivery and installation by Husqvarna,” said Earl Bennett, president of Husqvarna North America. “It has never been easier to achieve a perfectly cut, healthy lawn every day and free up more time to do the other things you like.”

Handling mid-sized lawns up to 0.4 acres, the Automower 115H robotic lawn mower is designed for narrow passages and slopes up to 17°/30% with a cutting height up to 3.6 inches. It is hose washable for easy maintenance and comes equipped with Automower Connect@Home, the Bluetooth-enabled app that lets owners control and monitor their unit with their smart phones.

Husqvarna will fulfill the installation through the company’s network of trained and authorized Automower dealers. At the point of purchase, the nearest dealer will be notified and will schedule installation directly with the customer.
