The Water Zone radio show receives recognition

Sponsored by Toro, the show received a Certificate of Recognition for its part in educating the county of San Bernardino.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Water Zone radio show, sponsored by Toro, was recently presented with a Certificate of Recognition for its continued educational and public outreach to both the citizens and water agencies within the County of San Bernardino to promote water use efficiency and water smart technologies.

Show co-hosts Rob Starr and Chris Davey were recognized for their have assistance to the county’s various water agencies by informing their constituents about California’s current water issues and pending legislation. The radio show features a variety of guests including representatives from water agencies, scientists and irrigation technologists, as well as both state and federal legislators.

“We want the public to hear directly from the people who make the decisions, and those who can help make sense of the many water issues that are affecting all of us,” says Starr.
