Janet Moyer Landscaping names board

SAN FRANCISCO – Janet Moyer Landscaping (JML) appointed three directors to its board: Peter Hofman, Michael Padgett and Lori Rathje.

Hofman is vice president of marketing at Measured Progress, a national, nonprofit, educational testing company in Dover, N.H. He also plays a key role in the company’s strategic planning, intellectual property protection and national public policy advocacy. Earlier, he held management and professional positions in government and private industry involved in sectors ranging from natural resources and energy to computer software, transportation and construction.

Padgett has served as director of operations for Janet Moyer Landscaping for five years. Prior to this, he was finance and benefits manager with Baker Street Advertising and was the client finance and production manager for Rathje Chadwick and Co. in San Francisco. His business career includes earlier associations with Highway One; Foote, Cone & Belding; and Bank of America.

Rathje is the principal of Lori Rathje Consulting, which provides executive development and business and marketing consulting for growth-oriented organizations. Earlier she served as president and CEO of Rathje Chadwick and Co. in San Francisco, an advertising agency she co-founded that focused on integrated marketing communications to build clients’ brands. Prior to this, she was general manager, senior vice president with Foote, Cone & Belding in San Francisco.
