Ruppert Landscape promotes controller

LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has announced the promotion of Jennifer Saah to the position of controller in our corporate office.

Saah has been with the Ruppert organization for more than a year, assisting with tax and compliance and related party accounting while reporting directly to the controller of Ruppert Companies, the parent company of Ruppert Landscape. She brings more than 10 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting and corporate accounting management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from High Point University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She currently resides in Laytonsville, Maryland with her husband, William, and their three daughters.

“Jen’s experience, attention to detail and desire to deliver great customer service make her the ideal person to lead our accounting team,” said James Thompson, chief financial officer.

As controller, she will be responsible for all daily, monthly and annual financial processes including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting. Ruppert Landscape is an open book company and the controller is also responsible for producing an accurate monthly income statement for all 20 branches and a consolidated statement for the overall company.
