WICHITA, Kan. – Koch Agronomic Services (KAS) names Edmund Carmody as the new director of sales, turf and ornamental. Carmody is tasked with aligning sales teams and channel partners to help educate and support continued growth, demand for enhanced efficiency fertilizers.
“Any type of technology, whether it's equipment, irrigation or in this case, fertilizer technology, needs to be revisited under today's standards,” Carmody said. “The reality is that we must find new ways of doing the same or more with less.”
Carmody has been working in the specialty fertilizer market since the mid '90s. He holds a degree in turf grass management from Michigan State University and a business degree from Walsh College. Carmody has extensive experience as a superintendent and as a technical sales representative for the Scotts Co., Pursell Technologies and Great Salt Lake Minerals, where he sold potassium sulfate to specialty Ag and turf markets.
