PEN ARGYL, Pa. -- North America’s leading manufacturer of innovative concrete paving products is very pleased to announce the recent acquisition of two manufacturing facilities. One in Waterloo, Indiana and the second in Rock Island, Illinois.
A very strategic addition. This will give Techo-Bloc the additional production and distribution needed to meet a growing demand for landscape products in the Midwest and Southern U.S. These new facilities will be a welcome addition to the current network of well-established partners already in the North East, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions.
Investment and employment opportunities. As a part of this expansion, Techo-Bloc will also be making significant investments in technology at the Waterloo and Rock Island plants in addition to a new distribution center in the greater Chicago area. Existing staff can look forward to ongoing support and training from Techo-Bloc. Additional job creation is also on the agenda, with the goal of building teams of creative, energetic and innovative people that value the opportunity to grow and excel.
Ongoing expansion. Techo-Bloc President, Charles Ciccarello had this to say, “We will continue to seek acquisition opportunities in the U.S. and Canada, with the objective of providing Techo-Bloc's superior line of landscape products within a greater geographic area.”
New locations. Same high company standards. Ciccarello went on to say about the new facilities, “Customers can expect the same high standards they’ve grown accustomed to.”
