In February of 2015, four teams in the United States completed the Design Phase of the Come Alive Outside Design Challenge. This program creates the opportunity for college, high school, elementary and pre-school students to work together with landscape professionals to design and build engaging outdoor learning environments at schools and childcare facilities.
Congratulations to the students at BYU-Idaho and Madison High School, who were awarded First Prize in the Design Phase of the challenge.
Click this link to view all of the designs and videos produced by each of the teams in completion of the Design Phase of the Challenge. Each team will now partner with professionals in the landscape industry to budget, raise funds and build out the designs. If you are interested in helping to build out the projects featured, please contact Come Alive Outside, and they will put you in touch with the proper contacts in each location.
