LOVELAND, Colo. – Direct Solutions has added of Brandon Green and Bob Raley to the green industry distributor’s Turf & Horticulture agronomy team.
“Building a solution-oriented agronomy team is one of our most important jobs,” said David Gingrich, managing director of Direct Solutions. “The addition of Brandon and Bob to our team of talented agronomists gives us two valuable resources to ensure our programs and product innovations meet our customers’ needs for their entire growing season.”
Green has more than five years of hands-on turf management experience and recently completed his master’s degree in agronomy from Auburn University, where he focused on turfgrass management and nitrogen release characteristics as they pertain to turfgrass. In his role at Direct Solutions, Green will have responsibility for providing training and support for Agrium Advanced Technologies’ Experience at FarmLinks research and education program, while also supporting Direct Solutions’ internal and external customers in the Southern United States.
Raley has more than 10 years of golf and turf grass management experience and holds a master’s degree in agronomy from Penn State University. Raley spent the past five years as the director of operations for Thousand Acres Lakeside Golf Club in Swanton, Md.
In his new position, Raley will provide training and support to Direct Solutions’ internal and external customers throughout the Northern United States and Canada.
“Bob and Brandon’s product insight combined with their research and real-world experience will be a great resource for our Direct Solutions sales team,” said Gingrich. “Every day, we’re striving to become the green industry’s top resource for in-depth knowledge and quality products. The expansion of our agronomy team brings us one step closer to our goal.”
