TANGENT, Ore. – Barenbrug USA has hired Chris Quinlan as the new Turf Territory Manager for the Midwest region. Quinlan will be responsible for professional turf sales and supporting distribution in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois.
Joining Barenbrug USA from Becker Underwood, Quinlan served as senior territory manager for more than 12 years. At Becker Underwood he was responsible for the turf, industrial vegetation management, agriculture and greenhouse markets in the Midwest and West. Quinlan also spent five years as assistant golf course superintendent in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Furthermore, he spent five years as distributor territory manager serving the horticulture business in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Quinlan received his BA in marketing from University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Additionally, he holds a two-year certificate from Michigan State University in turfgrass management. Quinlan states, “I am looking forward to working with our distributors, while growing our profitable business together and carrying on the long standing Barenbrug tradition of being great in grass.”
