COATESVILLE, Ind. – Dixie Chopper, owned by Jacobsen, has announced the addition of two new Kohler EFI (electronic fuel injected) powered zero-turn mowers to its 2015 product line-up.
The two commercial models, a Classic 3160EFI and an XCaliber 3366EFI, are being added to Dixie Chopper’s product line-up mid year due to strong 2015 commercial bookings and increased interest in Kohler EFI powered machines.
The new Classic 3160EFI will be powered with a 31 horsepower fuel efficient 824cc Kohler Command PRO EFI engine to reach a ground speed of 12 mph with a mowing capacity of 5.4 acres per hour. The XCaliber 3366EFI will come equipped with a 33 horsepower fuel efficient 824cc Kohler Command PRO EFI engine, reaching a ground speed of 13 mph to mow over 6 acres per hour.
Kohler's new Command PRO series features a highly-tuned air intake system that enhances airflow to maximize power and torque.
“This engine is designed to help commercial cutters power through their toughest jobs while reducing downtime and minimizing fuel costs,” said Mark Johansen, director of marketing for Kohler Engines..
“We’re answering the needs of our dealers and customers by offering Kohler EFI engines on two of our top-selling models. Plus, it makes sense that ‘The World’s Fastest Lawn Mower’ will come with the best-in-class power of the Kohler Command PRO engines,” said Chris Vernon, vice president and general manager of Dixie Chopper.
These two new models will join the three existing Dixie Chopper Kohler EFI powered machines in the 2015 product line-up, the Silver Eagle 2760EFI, the Classic 3572EFI and the XCaliber 3574EFI.
The Classic 3160EFI and XCaliber 3366EFI will be available to purchase in mid 2015 from Dixie Chopper dealers across the United States and Canada. To find a Dixie Chopper dealer, visit www.dixiechopper.com/dealer-locator.
