All landscape industry companies and branches are eligible to enter PLANET’s Safety Recognition Awards Program. Sponsored by CNA, this awards program is designed to reward industry professionals who consistently demonstrate their commitment to safety, and reflects the dedication of these individuals and their companies to creating and maintaining safe work environments.

Underwriters recognize the value of national safety awards, so by winning an award, you may lower your insurance premiums. Use the safety awards program as a benchmarking tool from year to year to measure your safety progress and possibly lower your workers’ compensation rates!

Companies can earn Safety Recognition Awards in the following categories:
• No Vehicle Accidents
• No Injuries or Illnesses
• No Days Away From Work
• Most Improved
• Overall Safety Achievement—companies with high performing safety programs that create and maintain safe work environments (Gold, Silver, and Bronze level).
• Best of the Best Award—companies that obtain Overall Safety Achievement Award - Gold Level status for three consecutive years.
