FOREST HILL, Md. – Home of the Carolina Panthers, the country's second-largest banking center, host of NASCAR races and world-class barbecue...all of this and more await green industry professionals in Charlotte, North Carolina, host of the PGMS School of Grounds Management Summer Conference, July 24-25.
This annual event will include exclusive tours and top-notch education sessions featuring industry leading professionals. Behind-the-scenes tours will include Bank of America Stadium, the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, Bartlett Research Facility and Metrolina Greenhouses.
Education seminars will focus on several important topics including research on the true values of nature preserves, using growth regulators to manage pruning, improving the appearance and health of shrubs, maintaining the historic integrity of a site while adapting to public demands, and how online education can be used as a tool by managers to assist in staff training.
