WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Valent Professional Products' Tourney Fungicide has been registered by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for use on diseases affecting outdoor ornamentals in the state of New York.
Tourney controls a broad spectrum of diseases, including apple scab, black spot of roses, leaf spots, rusts, powdery mildew, anthracnose and Rhizoctonia.
Available for use as a foliar spray or soil drench for root and crown diseases, Tourney offers growers application flexibility and the ability to control multiple diseases with one product.
“New York nursery growers and LCOs no longer need a wide range of fungicides to tackle a wide range of tough diseases,” said Dr. Jill Calabro, plant pathologist and regional field development manager for Valent Professional Products. “With Tourney, you can control a broad spectrum of tough diseases, including apple scab, with just one fungicide. That promises to save growers and LCOs both time and money – two of their most precious commodities.”
The supplemental label for Tourney applies to all states except California, where the label is pending approval.
