CENTERVILLE, Utah – EY selected Lawn Butler founders Rudy and Jena Larsen as finalists for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 Awards in the Utah region. The award recognizes business leaders who excel in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
The Larsens said they are excited to be in a group of finalists and that this nomination was because of their team that has helped build the business from three employees 10 years ago to almost 200 employees today.
“What our organization has now become is better than I could have ever imagined,” Rudy said. “It’s humbling to know that this isn’t because of me but because of our amazing leaders.”
Regional award winners will be announced at a gala on June 2 at The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Now in its 32nd year, the award program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries throughout the world.
Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur of the Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories as well as the Entrepreneur of the Year National Overall Award winner will be announced on Nov. 17 at the national awards gala in Palm Springs, California.
