Each year, LaWN asks its membership to submit nominations of candidates for their Person of the Year Award. These nominations are for individuals that regularly demonstrate a passion for the Lawn Care Industry as shown by the work they do for the companies that employ them. It is always a pleasure for the LaWN board to weed through (pun intended) the many submitted candidates who are making a difference in our industry.

This year, the LaWN board is pleased to announce the 2010 award winner: Tammy Korlesky of Weed Man, Middleton.

For the past two seasons, Tammy has demonstrated the characteristics of a person deserving of this award. Her solid work ethic, ability to go the extra mile for her customers and willingness to take on any tasks that her company requires, make her the special person that she is. For these reasons, Weed Man was pleased to nominate her and the LaWN board was honored to approve her.

During the recent 2011 Mid-Am show in Chicago, LaWN awarded Tami Korlesky with its Person of the Year Award.
