COLD SPRING N.Y. – Two of Neave Pools' pool design, building and maintenance professionals, Scott Neave and Kris Schmitt, recently passed the Certified Building Professional exam through the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP), an organization dedicated to serving industry professionals and promoting the enjoyment and safety of pools, spas and hot tubs to consumers.
According to the APSP website, certified professionals "adhere to strict ethical standards and commit to the highest standards of service, performance, and ethical conduct," something all employees throughout Neave Group Outdoor Solutions – of which Neave Pools is a division – strive for every day.
"Pools and hot tubs are a huge investment for homeowners to make in their landscapes," Neave said.
"Certifications like this offer our clients significant peace of mind that they've made the best possible decision in choosing Neave Pools to do the job – and that's important to us."
APSP Certified Building Professionals, in addition to taking a course culminating in a four-hour closed-book exam, must have at least five years industry experience and pursue at least 40 hours continuing education credits before taking their test.
