
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. – Target Specialty Products has hired Allen Borgen as a new territory manager serving the professional landscape market in Oregon and Washington.
Before joining Target Specialty Products, Borgen worked as a technical representative for Wilbur-Ellis in Wilsonville, Ore., for four years. He also served as a regional manager for Scott’s Lawn Service in Seattle and Portland. He was with Prograss in Wilsonville, Ore., for 20 years serving in various capacities including: branch manager, regional manager, operations manager, vice president of operations and marketing and finally as vice president and operations manager.
“Allen is a welcome addition to the Target team in the Pacific Northwest as we expand our products and services to this market,” said Target’s vice president and regional manger Casey Brierley.“He brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the team and will be a great asset for our customers.”
Borgen attended Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, earning a B.S. degree in Agricultural Resource Economics and a minor in U.S. history. He is a member of the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA), the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association (OCLA) and the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals (WALP).
