General Motors Co. said it will offer its forthcoming bi-fuel capable full-size pickup trucks in crew cab configurations.
GM said that the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD bi-fuel models will be sold to both fleet and retail customers. The trucks will be available in standard and long-box and two-or-four wheel drive, GM said.
The pickups run on gasoline or compressed natural gas and can seamlessly switch between the two fuels, GM said. The powertrain offers a range of 650 miles on both fuels.
