OPEAA announces officers and directors

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The Outdoor Power Equipment Aftermarket Association (OPEAA) announced its 2011-2012 officers and board of directors during its annual meeting in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Officers for 2011-2012: OPEAA President Mike Watts, Better Heads; OPEAA Vice President Dale Marcell, Oregon Cutting Systems; OPEAA Secretary/Treasurer Jim Paugh, NGK Spark Plugs; and Immediate Past President Sue Chaney, K-C Sales Co.

Continuing their service on the board are: Jeff Andrews, Desert Extrusion; Jeff Jerousek, MTD Products (Arnold); Barry Stiles, Stens Corp.

Newly elected to the OPEAA Board of Directors are: Eric Gunderson, Jarden Applied Materials; Arnaud Legrand, Speed North America; Walter Rieck, Prime Line Power Equipment Products; and Chris Roessler, Rotary Corp.

“As OPEI begins its second year of managing OPEAA, we’re enthusiastic about the proactive stance being taken by the OPEAA board as the association becomes more involved in the regulatory and legislative issues that affect our industry,” said Jean Hawes, senior vice president of finance and administration at OPEI.
