His new role will be regional sales manager of the company's dealer sales team.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Engine Division of Kawasaki Motors Corp. has announced the promotion of Bryant Huyser to a regional sales manager of the company’s dealer sales team. This group has also added two new dealer sales managers, Shawn Blatt and Mike Miller.

Huyser has been with Kawasaki for nine years, holding various inventory and sales management positions. Most recently he was OEM sales manager based in the company’s Grand Rapids headquarters. He will continue at that location with overall dealer sales responsibility for the central region.

The region encompasses the states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Kansas, and parts of Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Ohio, Arkansas and Pennsylvania.

“Bryant brings an exceptional understanding of the company’s needs to his new position, and I’m confident his proven leadership abilities will benefit both the sales team and our dealers,” said Karen Howard, director of dealer sales.

Blatt has more than 20 years of balanced experience in the outdoor power equipment industry, having held positions as both a corporate territorial sales manager and as the owner/operator of a turf equipment dealership and service center in the Kansas City, Missouri, area. He will continue to be based in the region and will be responsible for dealer sales and development in northern Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, western Missouri and eastern Okalahoma.

Miller’s sales area will encompass Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada, and he will remain based in Washington State. His prior background includes more than a decade of territorial sales in environmental services, medical device manufacturing, and precision tool and gauge industries.

A six-year U.S. Navy veteran, Miller holds an associate in applied science degree in business administration from Heald Business College.

According to Howard, these additions will strengthen an experienced team of dealer-oriented field representatives and will “bring added perspective to the issues that our dealers face in an ever-changing industry.”
