P. Clifford Miller joins Mariani Landscape team

He has partnered with the company on many design projects in the past.

LAKE BLUFF, Ill. – Mariani Landscape has announced that P. Clifford Miller has joined the design team. “Cliff” will bring his considerable architecture and local gardening reputation to the Mariani design and maintenance groups.

Miller is a Licensed Landscape Architect and has had his own design and gardening company in Lake Forest since 1984.

Miller has impeccable credentials in traditional garden design, and he also is widely known for his work in the naturalistic landscape movement. His portfolio of work includes projects for Lake Forest Open Lands and the City of Lake Forest where he oversaw the restoration and installation of Forest Park on Lake Michigan.

As a distinguished member of the Lake Forest Garden Club, Miller has intimate knowledge of the many historically significant gardens throughout Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and the North Shore.  He has been featured in numerous books and publications, and Horticulture magazine called Miller “a pioneer of design, reshaping the American garden.”

Mariani Landscape CEO Frank Mariani said, “I have known Cliff for more than 35 years, and I am very pleased to welcome him to our creative team.”

“Cliff has been a dedicated member of our community,” said Mariani Landscape President Fred Wacker. “We are thrilled that he will be bringing his expertise and talent to our firm.”

“I have worked with Mariani Landscape for many years on mutual projects and have nothing but respect for their work and professionalism,” Miller said. “I am excited to be joining the best team in the business and look forward to working with our clientele to help them realize the full potential of their personal gardens.”

A family company since 1958, Mariani has earned a national reputation for providing landscape architecture, installation and comprehensive maintenance services to discriminating clients.
