KENT, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has announced the appointment of Ed Gallagher to national operations manager, strategic business relationships.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, including 10 years at Davey, Gallagher has extensive experience in sales, client relations and account/project management.
“Throughout Ed’s three decades in the industry, he’s learned how to craft a superior client experience. Ed understands clients’ needs and knows how to develop innovative solutions to solve their problems,” said Pat Covey, Davey’s president and chief operating officer. “With Ed back on the Davey team, we’re confident he’ll continue to grow Davey’s national presence by putting our clients first.”
Gallagher is affiliated with the Sales Management Association, Building Owners and Managers Association, International Facility Management Association and National Association of Landscape Professionals. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Ohio State University.
When Gallagher worked at Davey previously, he was one of the originators of Davey Golf, Davey Sports Turf and the Davey Institute of Grounds Management, Davey’s largest commercial training program. Gallagher also served on Davey’s president’s council from 2003 to 2006.
