PHOENIX—Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply has expanded to serve markets in Illinois and Indiana.
The wholesale distributor of landscape and water management products recently opened its first locations in a series of planned expansions throughout the Midwest. Ewing now has stores in operation in Elgin, Illinois and Crown Point, Indiana, with a West Chicago, Illinois location opening in the near future.
The Elgin store is located at 318 Arrowhead Drive in Gilberts, Illinois; the Crown Point store is at 515 East 110th Avenue in Crown Point; and the West Chicago store will be at 1130 Carolina Dr., Suite F in West Chicago.
“Landscape and green industry customers throughout the Midwest will soon experience the high quality service and robust product offerings all Ewing customers expect,” said Douglas W. York, Ewing’s president and chief executive officer. “With a solid and close-knit team in place, I’m excited to introduce the Ewing family and culture to customers in these markets.”
Leading Ewing’s efforts in this new market, Dale Nieuwbeerta has joined the company as its Great Lakes division vice president. Nieuwbeerta joins Ewing with more than 25 years of experience in the green industry. He will leverage his skills and knowledge to support Ewing’s expansion efforts in these markets.

Prior to joining Ewing, Nieuwbeerta held area manager roles in Illinois, Indiana, northern and western Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Missouri. He also has experience as a director of national and international accounts, including in the military and golf industries.
