Join NALP and more than 400 volunteer landscape professionals in celebrating the 20th anniversary of Renewal and Remembrance, the industry’s largest day of service in the country, on July 11 at Arlington Cemetery.
This year the event, held annually to honor America’s veterans and leaders and to assist in keeping beautiful some of our nation’s most sacred grounds, will be a true celebration of dedication, honor to our country’s fallen heroes and opportunity for landscape professionals across the country to give back in the most meaningful way possible for our industry.
New for 2016 – Due to the positive impact of several years of lime applications at Arlington, the project is being expanded to include a broader scope of work: phosphorous application, aeration, irrigation installation and repairs, tree cabling and lightning protection, landscape and hardscape projects. Teams will be using more push spreaders and walk behind aerators to allow application and aeration in tight areas and between tombstones.
