Recently re-registered by the EPA, Triadimefon, part of the triazole family of chemicals, is now available for use on residential turf, Bayer Environmental Science announced.
Triadimefon is the active ingredient in Bayleton G fungicide, a granular formulation. Bayleton can be used to treat dollar spot, brown patch, fairy ring, anthracnose and other key turf diseases for up to 28 days.
“Bayleton is a cost-effective, trusted fungicide used by turf managers for many years, and we are happy to re-introduce it to the lawn care market,” says Jimmy Johnson, fungicide business manager, Bayer Environmental Science. “The long-term, broad-spectrum control offers application flexibility, giving lawn care operators more options when planning their services.”
Bayleton is also available in a liquid formulation, as well as water soluble packets.
