DURHAM, N.C. – SipcamRotam announced today that Michael Maravich will be joining the company as their new vice president of specialty business. That role was previously held by George Furrer, who was recently named chief executive officer of United Turf Alliance.
Maravich brings strong turf and ornamental sales and marketing experience to the position, most recently serving as director of strategic sourcing and category management for Primera Inc. At SipcamRotam, he will oversee the specialty business comprised by turf, ornamental and material preservation business segments.

Maravich is a graduate of the Turfgrass Management program at The Ohio State University. He will be based out of La Quinta, California.
