DURHAM, N.C. – SipcamRotam announced today that Michael Maravich will be joining the company as their new vice president of specialty business. That role was previously held by George Furrer, who was recently named chief executive officer of United Turf Alliance.
Maravich brings strong turf and ornamental sales and marketing experience to the position, most recently serving as director of strategic sourcing and category management for Primera Inc. At SipcamRotam, he will oversee the specialty business comprised by turf, ornamental and material preservation business segments.
“I am delighted to have Michael join the leadership team; he is a great fit for the company and will bring the right combination of experience, enthusiasm and entrepreneurship,” said Adam Burnhams, general manager of SipcamRotam.
Maravich is a graduate of the Turfgrass Management program at The Ohio State University. He will be based out of La Quinta, California.
