RALEIGH, N.C. — Landscape professionals have until Aug. 1 to get grandfathered into the new state contractors’ license.
“We encourage all qualified landscapers to take advantage of the licensing law’s grandfathering period,” said Calvin Kirven, executive administrator of the N.C. Landscape Contractors’ Licensing Board. “This is an opportunity for landscapers to easily grow their businesses, and show consumers they are qualified as professionals with the backing to help reimburse the customer against losses resulting from the contractor’s failure to meet contract obligations.”
