It was a record-breaking month for New Visions Lawn & Landscape in Panama City, Florida. Michael Mould and Tiffany Tucker had their highest grossing revenue month since taking over the company.
While there were several factors for the success, Mould says he’s now free to sell more jobs because they have a foreman to manage paver jobs, which Mould had been doing previously.
In addition, Mould purchased training videos from the University of Georgia a few months ago, and he finally found time to block out for his employees to watch them.
“We cleared out the day for a Saturday,” he says. “We talked over how it applied to us, and some of the shortcomings that we’ve been dealing with.” Mould adds that the videos helped to focus everyone’s role in his company.
Harvester’s take: New Visions is doing well, and sales don’t seem to be a problem. Bill Arman and Ed Laflamme of the Harvest Group say they would like Mould and Tucker to improve on recruiting, though.
