Washington, D.C. – The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) has opened registration for the 2013 ASLA Annual Meeting and EXPO, which takes place November 15-18 in Boston. The show attracts an estimated 6,000 attendees and is the world’s largest annual gathering of landscape architecture professionals and students.
With the theme “Gaining Ground,” the 2013 event features more than 130 education sessions, workshops and field sessions, and provides attendees with up to 21 Professional Development Hours. The exposition – the largest trade show in ASLA’s history – will include the latest products and services from more than 500 exhibitors from around the world.
“More than ever, the landscape architecture profession is in the spotlight for its leadership in addressing environmental concerns,” said Thomas R. Tavella, FASLA, president of ASLA. “This meeting offers a great opportunity to explore the latest advances, tools and success stories that will allow us to create healthy, sustainable communities.”
The early bird registration deadline is June 14. Additional information about the meeting, including the 2012 highlights video and information on how to register is available at http://asla.org/2013meeting/.
