The Smart Irrigation Month: Bringing Water to Life Webinar Series presents
Mitigating Effects of Drought – Visions for Sustainable Irrigation
Wednesday, May 21, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET

The 2012 drought was one for the record books. With many areas still feeling its effects, others are preparing for another possible drought. Is the United States properly prepared? What role does irrigation play in mitigating the effects?

Get answers to these questions and more on Wednesday, May 21, at 2 p.m. Eastern, when you join the Irrigation Association for Mitigating Effects of Drought – Visions for Sustainable Irrigation.

Using case studies from Alabama and Georgia, featured speaker Dr. Puneet Srivastava, professor of ecological engineering at Auburn University, will take a close look at lessons learned from the past drought and discuss innovative ways to prepare for the next one.

Space is limited. Click here to reserve your spot. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Participants are eligible to receive one continuing education unit toward IA certification.
