KENT, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has promoted Craig Holcomb to the position of vice president of operations support services.
Holcomb joined Davey in 2007 as senior business analyst and has since gained experience working in an advisory capacity in operations and support services. He was involved in all phases of the Wolf Tree acquisition in 2008 and played a vital role in its integration into Davey. His most recent position was vice president of operations for Wolf Tree.
In addition to Holcomb’s knowledge and experience within Davey, he was also previously CFO, vice president and controller for the Little Tikes Company. Prior to Little Tikes, he has worked in various finance, operations, and support leadership roles for General Electric and Nestlé.
Holcomb received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting from the University of Akron and a Master’s in Business Administration from Kent State University.
“Craig’s technical and interpersonal skills have allowed him to excel here at Davey,” said Pat Covey, president and chief operating officer of U.S. operations. “He had an impressive list of accomplishments prior to starting with Davey seven years ago, and his ability to supplement those experiences with an understanding of Davey operations and culture makes him well suited to be successful in his new position.”
