COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) Board of Directors and staff announce the launch of the ONLA Regional Education Series, designed to provide green industry professionals local options for hands-on education that pays off.
ONLA Executive Director Kevin Thompson said, “Education is central to our mission, so we created the Regional Education Series to answer the demand for year-round, local training that generates return on investment. These programs offer hands-on skills development that may directly contribute to operational efficiencies, increased profitability or new service offerings for participating companies.”
“The association has provided world-class education to thousands, over four decades via CENTS Marketplace, and the Regional Education Series has opened the door for us to deliver live, local learning” said Lisa Larson, ONLA’s education director.
The Regional Education Series offers eleven options to learn new skills and earn certification credits in a collaborative environment. Expert educators facilitate hands-on training using the tools and techniques of the trade while they share lessons learned and best practices for producing results. Program content is practical, transferable and will benefit managers, leaders and crew members.
