The 10th Annual Dallas Arboretum Plant Trials Field Day will be held Wednesday, June 22.
The Dallas Arboretum tests numerous annuals, sub-tropicals, bulbs, herbaceous perennials and woody plants to determine the best plants for the unique climate of North Texas. Attendees will receive advance information on recommended plants and award winners for the next growing season.
The day’s schedule is as follows:
- 1-2:00 pm Registration at Rosine Hall, Dallas Arboretum pre-register $15.00 (Dinner included) on site $25.00
- 2:00-2:15: Welcome, introduction and thank you to sponsors – Jimmy Turner and Jenny Wegley
- 2:15-3:00: North Texas Winners Circle & TAMU results – Dr. Brent Pemberton
- 3:00-4:30: Trial by Flower! Jimmy Turner - Senior Director of Gardens/Dallas Arboretum
- 2008 Award Winners & Historic "Best ofs!"
