CALABASAS, Calif – ValleyCrest Landscape Companies, the largest integrated landscape services company in the United States, named Karen Kennedy, a senior-level sales executive, to the newly created position of vice president of sales. Kennedy brings more than 23 years of sales experience to help meet the challenges of a global services operation that generates nearly $1 billion in annual revenue.
Prior to joining ValleyCrest, Kennedy held sales leadership positions where she played a role in creating top performing sales teams. This included positions at Hewlett-Packard, Unisys and most recently Dun & Bradstreet’s Hoover’s subsidiary. At ValleyCrest, Kennedy’s focus will be on developing senior relationships with customers, integrating the company’s customer service approach consistently across divisions and improving the company’s ability to define and communicate value to customers.
In her most recent position as executive vice president of sales at Hoover’s, Kennedy was chartered with transforming the sales organization, creating new channels and energizing business development through key relationships. Her responsibilities included sales strategy, product enhancement and development, customer experience stewardship, customer care and sales effectiveness. She successfully achieved year-over-year sales growth of 17 percent.
