Netafim adds sales managers

Netafim USA expanded its sales and marketing activities in California and the south central region with three new district sales managers, announced Michael Dowgert, Netafim director of marketing.

Omar Alcantara will oversee sales and marketing efforts in Southern California/ South Counties; Bill Millward will represent Netafim in Southern California/North Counties and Kevin Wood will cover Louisiana, New Mexico and south central Texas.

“Netafim is fortunate to recruit these talented individuals with solid backgrounds in the landscape irrigation industry,” said Dowgert.

Alcantara has worked in the industry nearly 12 years as a sales and technical service rep for major irrigation distributors and landscape lighting firms.

Millward is well-known in landscape irrigation with more than 25 years of experience working with irrigation distributors and manufacturers and as an educator.

Wood has a background as a landscape contractor and as a sales rep for leading irrigation distributors in Texas.

Netafim offers an extensive range of dripline irrigation products, including Techline CV and Techline EZ tubing, low volume control zones kits and dripline accessories and components, such as filters, point-source emitters, controllers and valves and hydrometers.
