Ruppert creates new position

LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has added Mark Kaercher as a general ledger accountant at the company’s corporate location.

Kaercher brings more than 25 years of accounting experience to his role as GL Accountant. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for account reconciliation and analysis, journal entries and allocations and will work closely with the controller on the monthly financial close and the annual CPA review and budget process.

Additionally he will be providing assistance in A/P, A/R and payroll as needed, addressing and resolving issues with branches, customers and vendors and working on special projects as required.

“Mark’s eye for detail and willingness to dig into processes and procedures make him a great match for this position,” said Bridgette Benoit, Controller. “He is a welcome addition to our team and is already making a difference with his contributions.”

Kaercher holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Vincent College and lives in Laytonsville, MD with his wife, Sylvia.
