Swingle Lawn, Tree & Landscape Care was recently retained by the city and county of Denver to treat municipal ash trees in the battle against Emerald Ash Borer (EAB).
“With EAB and in Longmont since June of 2016, I cannot stress enough how important it is for homeowners and property managers to view EAB as a significant threat. The good news is you have treatment options to prevent the destruction,” says John Gibson, president of Swingle Lawn, Tree & Landscape Care.
Emerald Ash Borer was first discovered in Boulder County back in September of 2013, and again in June of 2016 in Longmont. Emerald Ash Borer is considered the most destructive forest pest ever in North America. It is responsible for killing more than 50 million ash trees in 29 states. Across the front range of Colorado alone, one out of six trees are at risk.
In July of 2017, Swingle celebrates its 70th anniversary caring for both residential and commercial properties across the Front Range. With more than 40 arborists certified through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), Swingle has been at the forefront of identifying and measuring ash trees along the Colorado front range, and provided customers with a variety of treatment options.
