NALP's 2017 Legislative Days on the Hill will be held July 16-18 this year. Check out the top 10 reasons to attend Legislative Days.
During the event, attendees will participate in visits to the Hill, and are invited to the annual visit to the Halls of Congress. To make it easier to participate, this year NALP will be coordinating and scheduling all meetings for participants with their members of Congress. Once you register for the event, email the name of your United States Representative and your state’s two United States Senators to kmeko@dclrs.com.
Every day your representatives in Washington, D.C., are making decisions that could impact your lives and livelihood. To make sure your positions are known and your voice is heard, landscape professionals must send a clear and consistent message to Congress. NALP's annual visit to the Hill is one of the best ways to do so.
Renewal & Remembrance will be held July 17 – Help honor America's veterans during this nationally recognized day of service. Each year, hundreds of landscape and lawn care professionals from across the country come to Arlington National Cemetery and spend the day mulching, cabling and installing lighting protection for trees, as well as pruning, planting, liming and aerating more than 200 acres of sacred ground. Want to take part in volunteering? Find out more. To register for one or both of these events, click here.
