Community service franchise improves public gardens

Birthflowers.com’s system focuses on horticultural therapy.

Birthflowers.com is a landscaping, design/build franchise operating only in Georgia that uses a patent pending system of planting the genus of 12 flowering perennials. One perennial naturally blooms each month providing color with flowers every day all year.

The company provides 70 percent franchise fee financing for two years with no payments, not even royalty, for the first 90 days. Qualified entrepreneurs can start their own franchised landscaping business for only $2,100 down provided they have an in-home office with a computer, a truck or trailer and one acre to grow inventory. The franchise will pay $5,000 “to grow people through horticultural therapy,” which Birthflowers.com defines as “the spiritual and physical enjoyment of owning a flower garden.” This helps entrepreneurs in Georgia grow their landscaping businesses and helps the business owners experience the physical and spiritual enjoyment of their own flower garden environment.

Required is a passion for community beautification, gardening, willingness to follow the system and an attitude of customer satisfaction. Candidates need to be self-starters not afraid of hard work and long hours. These qualities help qualify an entrepreneur to become the local expert on landscaping and flower gardening. All franchisees are required to install two free public gardens in public places such as parks, a fire station, city hall or a courthouse. There is even a refund on part of the royalty paid by logging in 28 hours a month to teach classes in flower gardening to civic clubs, organizations and other prospects interested in community beautification and environmental improvement.
