In 1951, Clarence Davids Sr. started a landscape company with one truck and the simple goal of providing top-quality workmanship with cost-effective service. He set a precedent with his pioneering approach to landscape maintenance, earning him the title of “Father of Landscape Management.”

Clarence Davids & Co. has continued to grow in the tradition set before it under the current leadership of Bill Davids. It has since evolved into a full-service company offering landscape design, installation, and management services throughout the Chicagoland area with headquarters in Matteson, and branch offices in Plainfield and Ingleside, Ill.
