ST. CHARLES, Ill. – Aquascape announced EPA registration of its 2013 IonGen. The IonGen is an electronic water clarifier for use in ornamental ponds and waterfalls.
The IonGen effectively kills algae without the use of traditional liquid chemicals and is designed with a microprocessor that sends a signal to its probe. The probe then produces ions to help control algae throughout the entire water feature.
“The IonGen System is one of our most effective methods for controlling string algae in ponds, Pondless Waterfalls and other decorative water features.” said Dave Kelly, Aquascape's vice president of product management.
“There are many great benefits in using the IonGen,” Kelly said. “But the number one comment we hear from customers is that the IonGen allows them to spend less time maintaining their water feature and more time enjoying it.”
