The Aspire Software Company has announced the addition of Associate Developer Wesley Chambers to the company.
Chambers comes to Aspire by a long and winding road. His journey began in the PhD philosophy program at Mizzou. In May 2016, for a host of complicated reasons, he decided to step away from PhD and tenure-track pursuits. He moved with his wife, Jess, to Washington, D.C., where they became houseparents for at-risk youth.
Leaving Washington, they lived briefly in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Chambers took an interest in software development. His background in logic and philosophy helped him excel in the programming world, and he is now excited to join the Aspire Development Team in Chesterfield, Missouri. His job responsibilities include writing code and building/updating parts of the Aspire system to make it better and easier to use.
