GREENBUSH, Minn. – Altoz announced Wednesday a collaboration with Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power (BSCP) , attaching the new BSCP 810cc Vanguard engine aboard Altoz’s XP Z model mower.
The Altoz line of precision mowers and the 810cc Vanguard engine made their industry debuts last fall.
Available in 54 or 61 inch deck models, the Altoz XP Z features the Aero Deck High Output System, SmarTrac Monitoring System to keep the operator informed, an ergonomic and adjustable suspension seate and the Vanguard V-Twin engine.
“The engineering teams at Altoz and Briggs & Stratton worked extensively on this project to bring together the innovative technology found in the Vanguard engine and our XP Z model mower,” said Dennis Brazier, Altoz CEO. “Through this combined effort, we have further enhanced the performance and design of our XP Z mower, while providing users with a one-of-a-kind experience and setting the bar for the competition.”
The 810cc V-Twin power plant produces 26 gross horsepower while also increasing torque.
