LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Britton Industries’ new Philadelphia, Penn. location expands its position as the area’s leading producer and supplier of high quality organic mulch, topsoil, leaf compost and crushed concrete products in Central New Jersey and Southeast Pennsylvania.
“This purchase is an integral part of Britton’s commitment to our region and our customers. A commitment to continue to provide sustainable solutions to the challenges of managing organic waste and a commitment to our customers - to listen to their needs and expand into locations beneficial to them and their businesses,” said Jim Britton, owner and CEO. “Adding Philadelphia enables us to address those needs by providing another convenient location to drop off a load of concrete, source a dumpster for their jobsite or stop by to pick up a load of mulch or screened topsoil.”
The new Philadelphia location is in the northeast at 8901 Torresdale Avenue. It is open and fully operational accepting soils, concrete, trees, brush, leaves, clean lumber and pallets for recycling. There is a small supply store on site along with sales of Britton Recycled products including screened topsoil, crushed concrete, crushed stone, mason sand and mulch.
