BERESFORD, S.D. – Peter Finger, vice president of international sales for Sioux, was recently named a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP). Finger is the second person in the state to obtain this certification, which is granted after passing a comprehensive three-hour examination of 150 questions. This certification indicates proven competencies in global business, and assures understanding of areas involved in international commerce.
The test is broken down into four main areas: global business management, global marketing, supply chain management and trade finance.
North American Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE) grants the examination and gredentials. NASBITE is a professional organization for the global business community. NASBITE’S mission is to advance global business practice, education and training.
Meg Bucy, sales and marketing manager for Sioux, says, “Peter’s knowledge of global business is invaluable. Sioux’s international sales would not be where they are today without his knowledge and dedication.”
